- Remove the plastic drain plug which comes with your WasteMaid
- Turn on the cold water tap fully
- Turn on the Wastemaid waste disposal unit
- Push the food in to the Waste disposer unit with your hand or a waste disposal tool
- When the food has been ground down and washed away leave the cold water running for 10-20 seconds then turn the waste disposer off.
Do’s and dont’s.
Do use cold water do not use hot water, cold water helps break the food down in to a watery slurry.
Do not use hot water as it does not help break the food down is causes the water to be slimy and greasy and could clog the machine or the drain pipes.
